Follow the Green Money: Trilliant Raises $106 Million, Calisolar Secures $15 Million, Power Assure Raises $11.25 Million

Smart grid start up Trilliant has raised $106 million from venture capitalists and conglomerate GE and power and technology giant ABB.  One of Trilliant's largest customers is Hydro One, a utility serving Ontario, Canada.  Trilliant, a company based in Redwood City, CA has career openings.

Sunnyvale, CA solar cell maker, Calisolar, has raised $15 million to continue developing and manufacturing efficient solar cells.  Calisolar's goal is to make solar cells that can financially compete with fossil fuels.

Power Assure, a provider of software solutions to reduce the power consumed by data centers, has secured $11.25 million to develop new software and increase marketing efforts.
