Green Career Trends: REV Converts Fleet Vehicles to Electric, Hybrid Solar and Wind Powered Streetlights, Three Green Job Boards

A new company based in Vancouver, BC is offering owners of gas powered fleet vehicles an electric alternative.  Rapid Electric Vehicles (REV) transforms Ford Escapes and Rangers into full electric vehicles.  REV has begun converting a portion of the vehicles owned by a Canadian utility to electric vehicles. 

There are cities in Colorado that are cutting back on their spending by limiting the time the street lights are on.  Designed and manufactured by Urban Green Energy is a wind and solar hybrid powered street light that can be mounted on a steel pole to power LED lights. Once they are paid for, the power is free.
